This enjoyable bike tour offers you the chance to explore the southwestern area of Penang near Balik Pulau. You will cycle over paved and unpaved paths and alongside rivers, stopping at a local coffee shop where you can enjoy a cup of coffee or tea and sample some local delicacies. Designed by the Ministry of Design, the 162 rooms pay homage to contemporary style on every front. They offer a unique blend of design and modernized heritage aesthetics, with materials that stand out and emphasize a functional atmosphere. The rooms are, of course, equipped with the latest media technology. In the striking decor, heritage details become increasingly prominent, and as you step out of the room, these are complemented by tropical botanical elements inspired by the Georgetown Botanic Gardens.
Restaurants
On the ground floor of The Prestige lies the Arcade, a gallery of no less than twelve restaurants and bars with intimate settings in a modern-Victorian style. At the heart of the Arcade is the main restaurant, The Glasshouse, a enchanting space where tranquility, charm, and sensory-stimulating dishes come together. Next to the lobby is Cutter’s Lounge, where you can enjoy yourself throughout the day if you are staying in one of the Loft Suites.
Swimming pool
The stunning infinity pool is located on the rooftop and offers sweeping views of the Strait of Malacca. The pool has salt water and is the perfect place to relax during sunset. There is a covered gazebo next to the pool for a shaded seating area. Right beside the pool is a sun deck with loungers.
Spa / Wellness
The Prestige does not have a spa. However, a stylish, modern fitness center is available as part of the facilities, where you can attend to your workout needs. The fitness center is accessible 24 hours a day.
Beach
The Batu Ferringhi beach is a little over a 40-minute drive from Georgetown city center. Here, you will also find the famous night market starting at sunset. It makes for a great afternoon and evening outing combined.
Child-friendly
Only one room type offers an extra bed for a third person; this single bed is located in a separate bedroom. The Deluxe Trio is therefore also ideal if you are traveling with three adults. The Prestige does not have facilities specifically for children.
