About Sossusvlei Desert Lodge
The lodge is situated in the &Beyond Sossusvlei Private Desert Reserve, a vast area of 12,715 hectares deep in the Namib, the world's oldest living desert. Amidst a sea of dunes and rocky outcrops, the absolute tranquility and extraordinary clarity of the light in this region offer one of Africa's most captivating landscapes.
Sheltered by the mountains, &Beyond Sossusvlei Desert Lodge offers the opportunity to experience ultimate luxury while overlooking the enchanting Namib Desert. With only 10 villas, guests are invited to enjoy the serenity of the desert. The stunning swimming pool filled with water from an underground spring is perfect for cooling off. The lodge is a 40-minute drive south of Sesriem, the village from which you can explore the Sossusvlei dunes.

The ten beautifully appointed stone and glass suites, spread along the bend of the plateau, offer ever-changing views. Each spacious, air-conditioned suite features a secluded, shaded terrace with a private plunge pool, a living area with a fireplace, a large retractable skylight above the bed, and a private bathroom with a glass-enclosed rain shower overlooking the desert at 180°. The two-room Star Dune Suite is an ideal option for families or groups of friends.
Restaurants
Guests dine by the glow of lanterns and are served exquisite meals complemented by a fine selection of wines from an impressive wine cellar. After dinner, you can enjoy exceptional stargazing from the fully equipped observatory.
