Designed by the renowned Sri Lankan architect Channa Daswatta, The Alfred reflects the charm and elegance of the island. Here, you will enjoy absolute privacy and luxury, whether relaxing in the villa or playing an 18-hole round at the prestigious Victoria Golf & Country Resort, one of the most beautiful golf courses in the world.
The villa offers six spacious and luxuriously furnished rooms, which can be rented individually or as a whole. High above the mountains, guests come together to enjoy exclusive hospitality, stunning vistas, and culinary indulgence prepared with the finest local ingredients.

You will stay in one of the elegant Junior Suites or luxurious Master Suites, each designed with attention to detail and comfort.

Accommodation
- Junior suite: A serene decor in soft grey tones, with elegant patterns and sliding doors opening onto a balcony with panoramic views. Equipped with a queen- or king-size bed and a stylish bathroom with a walk-in shower and industrial accents.
- Master suite: Located on the top floor and featuring beautiful hardwood details, wooden shutters, and a classic colonial design. Includes an ensuite lounge and a luxurious bathroom with a freestanding bathtub. The Master suites on the lower floors combine the ambiance of the Junior suites with the facilities of the Master suites. Please note: the Master suite on the top floor does not have a balcony.
- Private stay: If desired, you can rent the entire villa exclusively. The six suites with ensuite bathrooms are then directly connected to the shared living room, TV room, dining area, and pool.
Restaurants
The Alfred does not have a standard restaurant, but an exclusive private chef who prepares delicious dishes daily with fresh, seasonal ingredients and authentic Sri Lankan spices. You dine in the cozy living room or outside on the terrace, while enjoying the enchanting views of the treetops and mountains.
Swimming pool
The villa's swimming pool offers a spectacular view of the mountain landscape. Adjacent are the TV room and the garden with various comfortable seating areas.
Spa / Wellness
The Alfred does not have a separate spa or fitness area, but in the serene surroundings, you will find plenty of opportunities for relaxation and exercise.
Activities
The Alfred is an excellent base for exploring Kandy and its surroundings. Walk through the breathtaking nature of the Knuckles Mountain Range, visit historic temples, or spend a day at the prestigious Victoria Golf Club, just a few minutes away.
Child-friendly
The villa is ideally suited for families and can be rented entirely. However, there are no specific children's facilities or a kids' club available.
