You will get to know the relaxed beaches and lively fishing village of Negombo, the colonial heritage and charming streets of Galle, and the pristine nature of Yala National Park, where you may come face to face with leopards, elephants, and other wildlife during a safari.
In Tangalle, you can enjoy the paradisiacal beaches, swaying palm trees, and the tranquility of the southern coast, with plenty of opportunities to relax by the Indian Ocean. The trip ends in the vibrant Colombo, where colonial architecture, modern neighborhoods, and colorful markets provide an impressive conclusion to a varied and luxurious journey through Southern Sri Lanka.
Day 1 - Arrival in Colombo – Negombo
Upon arrival at Colombo Airport, you will be warmly welcomed and transferred to your hotel in Negombo. This traditional fishing village is surrounded by a stunning lagoon and expansive mangrove forests. Here, you can relax on the beach and unwind from your journey, far from the hustle and bustle of Colombo.
Later in the day, you will get to know the unique surroundings of Negombo. You will visit the charming canals of the city and explore the surrounding mangrove forest, where you can enjoy a beautiful sunset view and possibly spot some extraordinary wildlife.
Day 2 – Negombo – Galle
After breakfast, you can opt for a bike tour through Negombo. During this ride, you will cycle through the city and explore the markets, churches, and daily life along the Dutch canals. Afterwards, you will continue to the historic Galle. The rest of the afternoon is at your leisure, so you can relax at your hotel.
Day 3 – Galle
A day to enjoy the sun, sea, and beach! Or opt for an optional city tour through this charming fortress town. Stroll through the narrow streets of the UNESCO World Heritage site Galle Fort, admire the colonial architecture, and discover cozy boutiques and trendy cafés.
Day 4 – Galle – Yala National Park
After breakfast, you will continue to Yala National Park, where you will stay for two nights in a luxurious accommodation amidst nature.
Day 5 – Yala National Park (Safaris)
Early in the morning, you go on a safari in Yala National Park, one of the best places in the world to spot leopards. Additionally, elephants, crocodiles, monitor lizards, and countless colorful birds live here.
After a relaxing afternoon, you will enjoy a second jeep safari to discover even more wildlife.
Day 6 – Yala – Tangalle
After a leisurely breakfast, you will travel to the south coast for a relaxing stay in Tangalle, a tropical paradise with golden beaches and swaying palm trees.
Day 7 and 8 – Tangalle
You have two free days to fully enjoy the beach and the facilities of your hotel. For those wanting something more active, there is the optional opportunity to participate in a cooking class and discover the secrets of Sri Lankan cuisine.
Day 9 – Tangalle - Colombo
After a relaxing breakfast, you will bid farewell to the south coast and travel to Colombo, the vibrant capital of Sri Lanka. Upon arrival, you have the rest of the day free to unwind at your hotel.
For those wanting to explore the city in a unique way, there is an optional adventurous city tour in an open-top Land Rover. As the city becomes increasingly modern, many hidden gems still lie tucked between the skyscrapers and busy streets. From narrow alleyways to historic buildings, this tour takes you to the places where Colombo’s rich history and culture are still very much alive.

You will be picked up from your hotel on time for the transfer to the airport.
