Namia River Retreat

To keep it simple, there are only 2 categories of pool villas, named after the view. The Nipa Pool Villa offers 62 m2 of space and is situated on the side of the lush nipa palm forest. The decor is inspired by the nipa palms, which is enhanced by the view. Thanks to the large windows that you can slide open, you can fully enjoy this view from the entire room or from your sunken bathtub. The even larger 86 m2 terrace is surrounded by this green forest and offers complete privacy and tranquility. Here, you can relax on a sunbed or in the small pool. The spacious en-suite bathroom features a shower and a sink for him and her. The minibar, filled with non-alcoholic drinks, is included and replenished daily. Also, the use of a bamboo bicycle is included with your stay.

For a broader view, you can opt for the River Pool Villa. This pool villa is located directly on the Thu Bon River. The villa offers exactly the same spaciousness as the Nipa Pool Villa, but the decor is inspired by traditional river life. The facilities and inclusions are similar to those of the Nipa Pool Villa.

Although the Namia River Retreat is a wellness resort, families with children are also very welcome. There are several Family Villas, both on the nipa palm forest side and on the river side. These villas offer 80 m2 of indoor space, with a bedroom featuring a king-size bed and a children's bedroom with two single beds (which can also be made up as a double bed). Each bedroom has its own en-suite bathroom with a shower. Between the bedrooms, you will find the living room, with an outdoor dining table. The spacious terrace offers 130 m2 of space, including the pool. Please be cautious with young children, as the master bedroom has a sunken bathtub and there is a pool outside on the terrace.

Finally, there is the most romantic villa, the Honeymoon Pool Villa. This pool villa is also the most spacious, with 100 m2 of indoor space and 200 m2 of terrace, featuring a private pool. The villa offers a 180-degree view over the Thu Bon River. Additionally, there is an extra space for spa treatments within the villa, so you don't have to go to the spa every time. On the terrace, you will find a sala where you can enjoy a romantic dinner overlooking the river. This villa also features a sauna and jacuzzi. In short, all the ingredients are present for the ultimate romantic stay.

The Welcome Lounge and The Merchant Restaurant are located on the mainland. You can walk or bike across a bridge to the peninsula, where the pool villas, The Fisherman Restaurant & Pool Bar, the swimming pool, and Lumina Wellbeing & Spa are situated.

Both restaurants share the same philosophy. They are inspired by fresh, local ingredients and the history of Hoi An, when the city was a vibrant international trading port bustling with the exchange of exotic spices and goods.

The Merchant Restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Here, authentic Vietnamese dishes and international fusion cuisine are served, with a view of the Thu Bon River. Enjoy a breakfast buffet, Vietnamese coffee and tea, and delicious fresh ingredients. Also, consider joining the lantern lighting ceremony—a magical sight to behold.

The Fisherman Restaurant is located next to the swimming pool and is inspired by the waters of nearby Cua Dai Beach and the fishing life around the Cham Islands. Here, you will find fresh seafood dishes, 'garden-to-table' offerings, and grilled specialties. This restaurant is also open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner and is exclusively accessible to resort guests.

If you wish to enjoy a special breakfast, lunch, or dinner, reserve a table at The Merchant River Cruise. With a gentle breeze in your hair and breathtaking views, you can indulge in the same high-quality dishes as in the resort.

If you wish to leave your pool villa for a while or swim some longer laps, you will find a swimming pool with loungers at The Fisherman Restaurant & Pool Bar. Here, you can relax comfortably on a lounger and order refreshing drinks at the pool bar.

The Lumina Wellbeing & Spa is a very important part of the resort. The philosophy of this spa is entirely based on ancient Vietnamese wisdom and herbal medicine, guiding you towards inner peace of body and mind.

With your stay, a daily wellness treatment is included. You can start your day with a movement session. Later that day, at your preferred time, you will go to the spa, where you begin by creating a personalized herbal package for your treatment. Then, relax and open your pores during a half-hour hammam steam session. After a short refreshing break, your traditional treatment of an hour begins. Fully refreshed and relaxed, you have the rest of the day to enjoy doing nothing, or to participate in one of the daily cultural activities. End the day with a bath ritual in your villa.

Moreover, Lumina Wellbeing & Spa offers studios for yoga and fitness, as well as outdoor spaces for yoga and meditation.

Not only are the wellness treatments included, but also the daily cultural activities during your stay. These activities are tailored to the time of year. For example, you can hop on your bamboo bicycle in the morning and ride with a guide along narrow paths in the surroundings. In the afternoon, learn how to operate a local fishing boat basket yourself. Or take the shuttle boat to Hoi An to explore the old town. All ingredients for the restaurants and spa are sourced locally from reliable partners. For the restaurant ingredients, special attention is given to purchasing seasonal products. Oil and water are recycled, and food waste is composted.

We primarily establish local collaborations, both in terms of staff for the resort and with local farmers, construction workers, and organizations. Additionally, local non-profit organizations are supported.
