Bushmans Kloof derives its name from the indigenous Khoisan tribe, better known as the Bushmen, who called this area home 100,000 years ago. Bushmans Kloof is an intimate accommodation offering a range of lodging options, from 14 carefully decorated rooms and 2 luxury suites to 2 secluded private villas. The room is equipped with a delightful double bed, an en-suite bathroom, and a private patio with views over the resort's gardens and the pool.
Deluxe Room
The Deluxe Room offers more living space with 57m², including a beautiful and spacious sitting area. Some Deluxe Rooms feature a fireplace, providing a pleasant luxury during winter evenings. All rooms are individually decorated with warm, classic accents that create a homely atmosphere.
The Niven Family Deluxe Room is suitable for families. This room consists of two bedrooms, both with en-suite bathrooms. Both the family room and the regular Deluxe Room have their own terrace overlooking the resort's gardens.
Paterson Suite
The Paterson Suite (approximately 71m²) is located in the old manor house dating from 1843. In this warmly and tastefully decorated suite, you will feel transported back in time with its classic details. In the separately located Riverside Supreme Suite (approximately 68m²), you can enjoy a first-class view over the bubbling Boontjies River from your own infinity pool. Koro Lodge

Illuminated by campfire and candlelight, dinner is served in the form of a South African Braai (barbecue) with superb grilled dishes.
Another unique dining experience is the rustic Kadoro, located in a former shepherd’s house in a hidden spot within the reserve. The perfect choice for a romantic dinner for two or an intimate private dinner with a small group.
At Makana, which means feast, you can enjoy a traditional high tea or a delicious brunch in the cozy setting of an enclosed terrace with a fireplace overlooking the river. Makana celebrates the rich traditions and history of the San culture from morning till evening with wonderful meals.
Private dinners can also be organized at various locations upon request, including at the 'River Boma' by the Boontjies River or a picnic right in the native gardens of the reserve.
