Deplar Farm has 13 warmly decorated rooms, including:
- 10 rooms with a king-size bed (including 5 loft rooms with an additional lounge area)
- 2 rooms with a queen-size bed
- 1 family room with 4 bunk beds – ideal for families
Each room is equipped with a television, minibar, ensuite bathroom with steam shower, and a unique view. The loft rooms have an extra floor with a cozy lounge. Additionally, the lodge offers a separate TV room and a stylish dining room that also serves as a restaurant.
Restaurant
In the dining room, you enjoy culinary indulgence with freshly prepared, tailor-made dishes. The chef works with seasonal, local products such as fish from the nearby lake, wild mountain berries, meat from local farms, and dairy from Icelandic sources
Swimming pool
In the garden, there's a wonderful geothermal-heated outdoor swimming pool with a pool bar. Inside, you'll find a second thermal bath in the spa, complete with a unique tub where you can hear underwater sounds – a sensory experience.
Spa & Wellness
Younger body and mind in the 465 m² large spa, located beneath the living area of the farm. Relax in thermal baths, cold plunge pools, a hot tub, panoramic saunas, and steam rooms. Outside, you'll find a traditional “Viking” sauna. There are three treatment rooms for massages and treatments.
Fitness enthusiasts can make use of the fully equipped fitness room with weights, Peloton bikes, and cardio equipment. Additionally, there is a separate yoga and Pilates studio with reformers.
Activities
Deplar Farm is the ultimate address for heli-skiing: be dropped off by helicopter on top of a mountain and ski straight down, with views of fjords and the ocean. Snowmobile tours and rides on fatbikes through the snow are also options.
In summer, you can hike, ride Icelandic fjord horses, fish, whale watch, and bike with electric assist. Inside, the lodge offers relaxation with a billiard table, table football, ping pong, a music room with instruments, a recording studio, and two helicopter landing pads.
