Conquer the famous canopy walkway
The ropes, steps, ladders, and platforms float high above the ground, allowing you to walk among the treetops and the lush greenery of one of the world's oldest rainforests. The renowned canopy walkway at Borneo Rainforest Lodge offers this unique experience, providing unparalleled views of the spectacular flora and fauna of the Danum Valley Conservation Area from the hanging bridges. Here, on the roof of the rainforest, you have a rare opportunity to come face to face with exotic birds, curious primates, and an abundance of other wildlife that call this magical ecosystem home.
Night Safari
In a location with very little light pollution, a sparkling starry sky will be visible on a clear night. Combine that with the sounds of the animals in the jungle around you, and even a walk around the lodge becomes an adventure. During a night safari, you will go deeper into the jungle with a guide to spot some of the remarkable animals that live here.

Accommodations
In this cozy eco-resort, there are only 31 individual chalets. A maximum of 60 guests stay here each day on a full-board basis. The chalets are equipped with a fan and a balcony with seating, offering a stunning view of the jungle. The rooms are quite simple, yet cozy, spacious, and perfectly suited to the surroundings. The Premium Villas are even more spacious and are strategically located next to the river to provide a sense of privacy and tranquility. These villas also feature a plunge pool on the terrace.
Restaurants
The restaurant, as well as the bar and lounge, are located together in the main building, a large two-story chalet constructed from beautiful dark wood with a cozy decor featuring natural materials and rattan lighting. The chef makes every effort to use local ingredients for the dishes, and in keeping with the intimate size of the accommodation, delicious customized dishes can of course be prepared in consultation with you.
Swimming pool
The swimming pool, located in front of the main building of the lodge where all other facilities are, overlooks the Danum River. Enjoy some relaxation around the pool after an active day exploring, and let the natural surroundings soothe you. There are also trekking options to nearby waterfalls, where you can swim in the cool waters of the pools.
Spa / Wellness
The Borneo Rainforest Lodge features an intimate Jari Jari Spa nestled amidst the lush greenery. Immerse yourself in an authentic experience where cultural traditions are passed down from generation to generation. Relaxing and rejuvenating therapies adorn the spa menu. Experience a traditional massage that is part of Borneo's rich cultural heritage and be surrounded by the scents of local lemongrass, lavender, and palm leaves.
Next to the spa, at the bottom of the various waterfalls of Danum Rainforest, you will find natural 'jacuzzi pools' that you can visit.
Near the main building, there is a fully equipped fitness room with the latest equipment.
Child-friendly
Borneo Rainforest Resort does not have a kids' club or playground, but the activities are suitable for families with children. Some hikes can be physically demanding and may not be suitable for very young children. Of course, the guides are specialized in providing clear explanations about the surroundings and activities. There are safety regulations that apply to everyone. The chalets are suitable for a maximum of 3 people, and there is a Premium Deluxe Chalet where two extra beds can be added.

The resort works closely with conservation organizations to preserve the biodiversity of the rainforest and makes the highest possible efforts to protect endangered species and maintain natural habitats. The local village communities are supported by providing employment opportunities.
