Hotel Information

Accommodation

The charming Fiordland Lodge offers various accommodation options. In the lodge, you can choose from the Lodge rooms, located on the ground floor with direct access to the gardens. They are peacefully furnished with light and earthy tones that complement the surrounding nature, and the large windows offer views of Lake Te Anau and the mountains.  The Deluxe Lodge room is situated on the first floor, providing a more expansive view.

For even more space and comfort, there is the Executive Suite, located at the top of the main lodge building. The enormous windows let in plenty of natural light into both the separate sitting room, where you can relax by the gas fireplace and enjoy the magnificent views, as well as the bedroom.

If you are traveling with family or friends, there is the 2-Bedroom Lodge Studio. Situated on the ground floor, these are essentially two Lodge rooms connected by a door. Each room features a super king-size bed (which can be converted into twin beds) and a private ensuite bathroom.

Approximately 200 meters from the lodge, you will find two wooden Log Cabins. Due to their location, the views of Lake Te Anau are less direct, but they offer more privacy and views of the Fiordland National Park mountains and farmland. The smaller cabin is suitable for two people and has a queen-size bed and a kitchenette. The larger cabin has a sitting area with a fireplace and a kitchenette. Downstairs, there is a queen-size bed, and upstairs on the mezzanine, there is a king-size bed and a single bed.

Restaurants

Of course, the restaurant also offers a magnificent view of the surroundings. Enjoy a fresh breakfast here every day. Additionally, a three-course dinner is included with your stay each day, where the talented team of chefs continuously creates refined dishes using fresh local ingredients. The farm-to-table concept is implemented as much as possible. The restaurant is also open for lunch, where you can choose from many fresh à la carte dishes.

Swimming pool

The lodge does not have a swimming pool. However, there is an outdoor hot tub with stunning views over Lake Te Anau. Additionally, there is a sauna, perfect after an active day.

Activities

There is so much to do in the surrounding area of the lodge. The lodge can arrange all these activities for you. It is highly recommended to visit Fiordland National Park and take a cruise through the majestic Milford Sound or the equally beautiful but more remote and therefore quieter Doubtful Sound. Alternatively, you can go for a hike in this national park with a private guide. Even a photography tour is possible, or an exclusive private cruise on Lake Te Anau.
