Eagles Nest

Upon arrival at one of the five beautiful villas, champagne is already chilled and ready for you. As you sip your glass, you can enjoy the panoramic view over the Bay of Islands. Breakfast is prepared daily and placed in the fridge of your villa. Each villa features a jacuzzi, and four out of five villas have their own swimming pool. Additionally, you will find the TV exclusively in the living room, and each villa has access to its own parking space. This accommodation is family-friendly and therefore ideal if you are traveling with your family. Baby cots and high chairs must be booked in advance but are included in the price.

Villa First Light

The stunning Villa First Light is approximately 152 m² and has an intimate, homely atmosphere with enormous windows. The bedroom with a skylight and en-suite bathroom with a glass shower is located on the mezzanine level. Downstairs, there is an open fireplace both indoors and outdoors, allowing you to enjoy a romantic evening regardless of the weather. The villa has a fully equipped kitchen and another bathroom with a shower. Additionally, your villa features a large flat-screen TV with a home theatre system, a CD and DVD collection, WiFi, a minibar, and a safe. The delightful terrace offers spectacular views over the bay, and in the garden, there is a hidden jacuzzi.

Villa Eyrie

Villa Eyrie, about 222 m², consists of one floor. The three bedrooms, each with an en-suite bathroom with a shower, are arranged around the living room. In the living room, you will find a spacious dining area and a fully equipped kitchen. There is a large flat-screen TV with a home theatre system, a CD and DVD collection, WiFi, a minibar, and a safe. There is also a laundry room with a washing machine. The spacious terrace overlooks the bay and features a jacuzzi and an 18-meter heated infinity pool.

Villa Eagle Spirit

The spacious Villa Eagle Spirit is approximately 243 m² and consists of one floor with a terrace running along the entire front of the villa, offering views over the bay. On the terrace, you will also find the 18-meter heated infinity pool and a jacuzzi. The living room has a generous dining area, a fully equipped kitchen, a large flat-screen TV with a home theatre system, a CD and DVD collection, WiFi, a minibar, and a safe. The villa has three bedrooms, each with its own access to the terrace and an en-suite bathroom with a shower. There is also a laundry room.

Sacred Space Villa

The Sacred Space Villa, approximately 270 m², features a very unique, elegant style with an upper floor. Surrounding the villa is a large terrace, including a raised deck accessible via a staircase. On the large terrace, there is a 20-meter heated infinity pool, a jacuzzi, a covered BBQ area, a sauna, a laundry room, and a bathroom with an outdoor shower. The ground floor includes a spacious living room with a dining area and a fully equipped kitchen with a bar. The living room is flooded with natural light through the glass roof. This floor also has three bedrooms, two of which with king-size beds and en-suite bathrooms. One bedroom has a queen-size bed, no en-suite bathroom, but it has access to a guest bathroom directly opposite in the hallway. The entire upper floor is a bedroom with a king-size bed, a spacious en-suite bathroom, and a walk-in wardrobe. In addition to a private parking area, this villa has its own helicopter landing pad.

Rahimoana Villa

The largest and most luxurious villa is Rahimoana. This villa is grand with a capital G, built and furnished in a modern minimalist style. The approximately 1000 m² villa is situated on a private 45-hectare estate, offering complete privacy for walks. It also has access to your own private beach stretching over a kilometer, as well as a private helicopter landing pad. Rahimoana offers a 300-degree unobstructed ocean view from the terrace, but also from the villa itself through floor-to-ceiling windows reaching up to a 3-meter-high ceiling. The heart of the villa is the living/dining room, surrounded by other spaces such as the fully equipped kitchen, TV room, gym, sauna, wine cellar, and bedrooms. The villa has four bedrooms, each with its own en-suite bathroom. On the spacious, 50-meter-long terrace, you will find a jacuzzi, a 25-meter heated infinity pool, and comfortable seating areas. In addition to all this, several extra services are included when staying at Rahimoana. Use of the resort’s Porsche Cayenne for local transportation is included

Since you primarily stay in the privacy of your own villa, complete with a private kitchen, Eagles Nest does not have a separate restaurant or bar. You can let us know a day in advance if you would like to have lunch or dinner in your villa. The chef will then prepare your meal at the desired time. Drinks can be ordered from the concierge service, which acts as a butler. In the vicinity of Eagles Nest, there are several excellent restaurants if you wish to dine outside your villa. You can ask the concierge service for recommendations.

Eagles Nest is an accommodation where you primarily stay in the privacy of your own villa. As a result, the property does not offer facilities like those found at a resort. However, there is a private beach, and the concierge team is happy to assist you in organizing activities or excursions.

For example, you can have your spa treatment booked by the team. You can enjoy this in the comfort of your own villa. Or arrange for the resort's Porsche Cayenne (if available) to pick you up for a stylish ride through the area. Of course, a boat trip through the Bay of Islands should not be missed, hopefully with encounters with the wildlife that inhabit this bay, such as dolphins and penguins. Or enjoy a romantic sunset dinner cruise.

Alternatively, take a helicopter excursion to visit the northernmost tip at Cape Reinga or explore the ancient Waipoua Kauri Forest. If you love golf, a day on one of the famous golf courses here is a must.

Eagles Nest has no shared spaces, so no restaurant or bar. For drinks, you can always call the concierge service, who will bring the beverages to your villa. If you already know that you would like to have lunch or dinner in your villa, please book this one day in advance so that a chef can prepare a meal tailored to your wishes at the desired time. Just a five-minute drive away is the Duke of Marlborough Hotel with a fantastic restaurant, and the nearby town of Russell also offers many excellent dining options.

Built with nature in mind, Eagles Nest is continuously committed to sustainability. The villas blend seamlessly into the environment, using only natural and ecological products. This includes the bath products in the bathrooms, as well as eco-friendly cleaning supplies. Additionally, Eagles Nest has a waste recycling program.
