About Tin Tub Luxury Lodge
Tin Tub Luxury Lodge is peacefully situated atop a hill, overlooking Wanaka and the expansive, sparkling Lake Wanaka, surrounded by stunning mountain scenery. Here, you can completely unwind and relax, and whether it's cold or warm outside, the lodge has plenty of facilities to help you do so.
It's already wonderful to just sit in the garden with a lovely drink and enjoy the magnificent landscape surrounding you. In summer, there is a heated pool, and on colder days, you can warm up after a day outdoors in the infrared sauna or by a cozy fireplace. If you opt for the more luxurious Lodge rooms, you will find two tin bathtubs on your terrace, from where you can enjoy the view in a truly relaxing and unique way.

Your Stay
Your stay at this resort is all about relaxation and enjoyment. The welcoming owners will ensure that everything is perfectly to your liking. You can choose between the Peak View rooms or the Lodge rooms, with the more luxurious Lodge rooms featuring the unique tin bathtubs on the terrace, after which the lodge is named. Every morning, it’s delightful to wake up to a freshly prepared breakfast, including homemade bread and granola.

Accommodation
The lodge offers two categories of rooms. The entry-level options are the two Peak View rooms, each equipped with a king-size bed and views of the surrounding mountains. These rooms feature a fan, private coffee/tea making facilities, and an ensuite bathroom with a shower. The more luxurious rooms are the three Lodge rooms, which come with air conditioning and a California-sized bed (slightly narrower but longer than a king-size bed), a TV, and coffee/tea making facilities. The bathroom includes a jacuzzi bathtub and a separate shower, and on your terrace, you will find two tin bathtubs for a bathing experience with spectacular views.
Restaurants
The lodge does not have a restaurant. However, there is a shared dining room where a fresh breakfast is served daily. There is also a bar where drinks can be purchased.
Swimming pool
The lodge has its own heated swimming pool that is open in the summer.
Activities
The lodge has its own fitness room, sauna, and tennis court. They also rent out mountain bikes so you can explore the surroundings by bike. The owners know the area like the back of their hand and are happy to provide you with a variety of tips. Depending on the season, you can enjoy excellent hiking, cycling, fishing, wine tasting, or skiing here. They can also assist you in arranging excursions in the area, including helicopter flights and cruises on Lake Wanaka.
