Discover Con Dao
Con Dao is an idyllic archipelago consisting of 16 islands. It is located in the southernmost part of Vietnam, where you will find not only beautiful sandy beaches but also lush nature. Approximately 80% of the archipelago is a marine and national park. The largest island is Con Son, where mainly resorts can be found. There are not many, as this island has not yet been discovered by most tourists. Therefore, do not expect extensive tourist infrastructure or bustling towns here.
However, you can look forward to beautiful beaches, a stunning underwater world, lush nature, and some cultural and historical sights. During the French colonial period, this island was used as a prison island, and remnants of this history are still visible. It is also remarkable that, especially during the rainy season, many sea turtles come ashore here to lay their eggs.
