Six Senses Con Dao

All villas feature a terrace with a sunbed and an infinity pool. All bathrooms have a bathtub and a separate outdoor shower. For your comfort, the villas are equipped with Wi-Fi, an LCD TV, Bose sound system, espresso machine, minibar, and wine fridge. Additionally, each villa has its own bicycles for you to use to explore the resort.

The spacious Ocean View Duplex Villa is 194 m² and has the bedroom upstairs with a balcony offering panoramic sea views over the bay. Downstairs, there is a large bathroom with a bathtub, double sink, and a separate outdoor shower in the garden. Here, you will also find the terrace with sunbeds and your infinity pool. The Beachfront Duplex Pool Villa is identical to the Ocean View Duplex Villa but is located directly on the beach. The Beachfront Deluxe Pool Villa is slightly smaller at 150 m², has direct access to the beach, but is not a duplex. The bathroom is on the ground floor, behind the bedroom. The facilities are otherwise the same.

For families, there is the Ocean View Two-Bedroom Family Pool Villa. This duplex villa has a bedroom with a king-size bed and an ensuite toilet on each floor, a sitting area, and one bathroom on the ground floor. The Beachfront Two-Bedroom Pool Villa is much larger at 522 m². It is located directly on the beach and consists of three buildings. The two outer buildings are bedrooms with king-size beds and ensuite bathrooms. The middle building is the comfortable living room with a dining table. The pool is also much larger, and you have direct access to the beach.

If you are traveling with a larger group, there are the Ocean View Three-Bedroom Pool Villa and Beachfront Three-Bedroom Pool Villa, both 542 m². Or the Ocean View Four-Bedroom Pool Villa and Beachfront Four-Bedroom Pool Villa, both 671 m².

Along the beach, you will find the aptly named By The Beach Restaurant, where you can enjoy modern international dishes. For delicious Vietnamese cuisine, head to By The Market. For a light meal or takeout, visit Earth Lab, where you can also indulge in homemade ice cream in the afternoon. Be sure to try the Destination Dining experience, allowing you to enjoy lunch or dinner at a location of your choice. Alternatively, opt for a lunch or dinner in your own villa.

If you have been lounging by the pool and are in need of a refreshing drink or a tasty snack, the Splash Bar offers the perfect solution. Here, you will find everything from healthy smoothies to exotic cocktails and delicious snacks. It is also the ideal spot to enjoy a sundowner at sunset. During the day, you can visit the Elephant Bar for casual dining, and in the evening, enjoy an excellent selection of wines, cocktails, and mocktails.

Surrounded by the tropical gardens of the resort, the Six Senses Spa is beautifully situated at the end of the resort in a very serene setting. Here, you will find three exclusive treatment rooms, an outdoor yoga and meditation pavilion, and the opportunity to participate in a workshop to make your own coconut oil. Visit this spa for an invigorating morning yoga session and a relaxing wellness treatment throughout the day, with a wide selection of therapies and treatments.

If you find that a day of relaxation is enough, you will not need to worry about boredom. The resort organizes a wide range of activities and excursions, or you can customize an excursion to your own preferences. Several mornings a week, you can participate in a yoga session, and there are activities such as walks, bike rides, sports, snorkelling tours, cooking workshops, creative workshops, and cultural excursions. Free water sports are available, including stand-up paddleboarding, kayaking, and bodyboarding. A few evenings a week, you can watch a movie in the small open-air cinema.

The resort collaborates with Con Dao National Park to protect the sea turtles. They have restored the beach to be ideal for these turtles to come ashore and lay their eggs. The laid eggs are protected and monitored, and once the hatchlings emerge from their eggs, they are gently and carefully released back into the sea. If you are lucky enough to be a guest during this period and the conditions are right, you may have the opportunity to help release the baby turtles. An unforgettable experience.

Private Sunset Getaway

The boat takes you to the west side of Con Dao, passing several beautiful spots along the way. The boat docks on the other side of Hon Ba Island, locally known as 'Grandmother Island.' Here, it is the perfect moment to toast to a unique end of the day as the sun slowly sinks towards the horizon. Enjoy a glass of cool champagne and some snacks while watching the colorful spectacle unfold.

Hit the High Spots

Explore the nature of Con Son Island. Accompanied by a guide, you will take a walk through the lush forest, where your guide will try to spot some native animal species. Your guide will also introduce you to various bird calls and cicadas. At a former fruit plantation, you might see long-tailed macaques. Additionally, there is a viewpoint offering a panoramic view over Con Son Bay.

The Six Senses resorts are usually located in special, natural settings, and sustainability has always been a key pillar for them. This is reflected not only in the resorts themselves but also behind the scenes. For example, the Six Senses Con Dao has its own drinking water system, and they bottle water in reusable glass bottles. They use as little plastic as possible and minimize their waste as much as they can. They collect organic waste in the kitchens to make compost for their own organic vegetable garden. They also recycle extensively, with examples visible in the Earth Lab. Old pillowcases are turned into bags, and many tiles in the resort are made from crushed wine bottles.

They also organize many sustainability events themselves. For instance, last year, they removed a total of 6,000 kg of waste from the ocean during 'clean-up' events. Additionally, they work together with Con Dao National Park to protect sea turtles. For the local community, they contribute to education by providing clean drinking water, computers, school bags, and notebooks. They also teach English and lessons on sustainable waste management, healthy eating, and more.
