Six Senses Con Dao
Located in the south of Vietnam, the Con Dao archipelago consists of 16 islands. Some of these islands are part of a Marine and National Park, offering not only secluded sandy beaches but also stunning nature. The Six Senses Con Dao is situated on the largest island, Con Son. It is beautifully positioned along a 2 km long golden sandy beach within a bay, surrounded by lush forest. The resort is designed in the style of a Vietnamese fishing village, with pool villas built from wood and bamboo, creating an atmosphere of 'barefoot in the sand' luxury. From your villa, you will enjoy a magnificent view over the ocean.
If you are seeking tranquility, this remote location is the perfect choice. You can spend your days lounging by the pool with a good book. Each pool villa has its own private pool, and the resort features a freeform swimming pool. This does not mean there is nothing to do. You can enjoy lovely beach walks, relax at the spa, explore nature, go on excursions in the area, or explore the underwater world. Several activities are offered, and there is a Kids Club for younger guests. But most of all, enjoy the stunning surroundings and let yourself be pampered by the Six Senses experience.

If you are lucky enough to be a guest during this period and the conditions are right, you may have the opportunity to help release the baby turtles. An unforgettable experience.

Sustainability
The Six Senses resorts are usually located in special, natural settings, and sustainability has always been a key pillar for them. This is reflected not only in the resorts themselves but also behind the scenes. For example, the Six Senses Con Dao has its own drinking water system, and they bottle water in reusable glass bottles. They use as little plastic as possible and minimize their waste as much as they can. They collect organic waste in the kitchens to make compost for their own organic vegetable garden. They also recycle extensively, with examples visible in the Earth Lab. Old pillowcases are turned into bags, and many tiles in the resort are made from crushed wine bottles.
They also organize many sustainability events themselves. For instance, last year, they removed a total of 6,000 kg of waste from the ocean during 'clean-up' events. Additionally, they work together with Con Dao National Park to protect sea turtles. For the local community, they contribute to education by providing clean drinking water, computers, school bags, and notebooks. They also teach English and lessons on sustainable waste management, healthy eating, and more.
