Restaurants
There is a wide selection of excellent restaurants and bars, which have even gained significant fame in Vietnam. Le Beaulieu is renowned for its modern French haute cuisine and exceptional wines. If you prefer Vietnamese cuisine, opt for the Spice Garden Restaurant. La Terrasse is inspired by French cafés. Here, you can sit comfortably on the terrace, enjoy a delicious meal, or simply observe the daily life of Hanoi with a good cup of coffee. For a complete evening experience, dine at Angelina, where you will find European and New World dishes on the menu. Let the dinner seamlessly flow into 'after-dinner' drinks, as you'll find a fantastic cocktail bar and whiskey lounge here.
But the hotel also has a number of other bars. The Bamboo Bar is the hotel's pool bar, where you can order refreshing drinks, light snacks, and ice. In the historic Le Club Bar, you can enjoy a refined high tea, chocolate surprises, and the best cocktails. Most evenings, a jazz band plays here.
Wellness and Spa
In the heart of the hotel is Le Spa du Metropole, featuring 8 Spa Suites where you can enjoy a relaxing treatment in complete privacy. Products from Sothys, Ytsara, and Laurent Severac are used here.
Activities
Every day in the late afternoon, you can participate in the ‘Path of History Tour,’ where you will learn about the rich history of this hotel. Among other things, you will see the bomb shelter beneath the hotel, which was used during the American War. This was accidentally rediscovered during the renovation of the Bamboo Bar in 2011 and was opened to ensure that this period is not forgotten.
Sustainability
All bathroom products in the rooms and suites are packaged in 100% recyclable containers. An important step towards banning all single-use plastic from the hotel. All towels and linens are made from environmentally friendly materials. The electricity now comes from a 'green' source, rainwater is reused, and organic ingredients are used in the restaurants. The hotel has also established its own urban vegetable garden.
