Impression

Your Stay
All villas are inspired by a traditional Balinese house. Through a decorated wooden entrance door, you enter your garden with a small pool, a pavilion with a traditional thatched roof as an outdoor sitting area, and your villa adjacent. In your villa, great attention has been given to every detail. For example, there is a small gap between the mosquito net and the canopy bed to avoid a claustrophobic feeling. The handcrafted wood carvings and furniture upholstered with ikat fabric are all made by hand, and everything you need is provided. If you miss something, a quick message to the concierge service will take care of it. The bathroom features a cozy vintage bathtub and a separate indoor shower, as well as an outdoor shower. The resort is built on a hillside, and the higher your villa is located, the more panoramic the sea view will be. You can also choose from villas with garden views, partial or full sea views, and with one or multiple bedrooms.
Hotel Information
Accommodation
The Four Seasons Resort is a villa resort with all villas spread throughout the resort in seven ‘Balinese villages’, featuring temples, altars, and water features. You won’t need to complain about space, as even the smallest villa measures 250 m². You can choose from a villa with garden views, partial sea views, or full sea views. On this side of Bali, the views over the sea, especially during the spectacular sunsets here, are highly recommended. The higher the villa is situated on the hill, the more expansive the views over the Indian Ocean. If you are traveling with a family, there are also villas with multiple bedrooms and Family Villas.
All villas feature a terrace with an infinity plunge pool or swimming pool. The larger the villa, the larger the pool. Additionally, they are tastefully decorated in Balinese style and equipped with at least air conditioning, an LCD TV, Wi-Fi, minibar, safe, coffee and tea facilities, and daily fruit. The bathroom includes a freestanding bathtub, separate shower, double sink, and access to the garden with an outdoor shower.
There are also Residences, which are even more spacious and have at least two bedrooms, up to four bedrooms. The Residences offer the same facilities as the villas. When staying in a Residence, you also have access to 24-hour personal concierge service.
Restaurants
The Sundara has a wonderful beach club vibe and is inspired by the fish barbecue culture of Jimbaran. It is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The bar area stays open late, offering a wide selection of tropical drinks and cocktails. The Sunday Brunch is also very popular here. Dining in the Taman Wantilan is a true experience. Here, you can watch the chefs in action behind live cooking stations as they prepare delicious dishes from Asian and Western cuisines. Alu focuses on healthy eating, served in a café style. Think of Buddha Bowls and street food-style snacks.
If you love cooking, be sure to take a class at the on-site Jala Cooking Academy, where daily workshops are held and excursions to the local market are organized. In the herb and cocktail garden, Telu, the resort’s head bartender goes all out with, among other things, Zero Waste bar workshops.
You can also choose to dine in your own villa. This can be arranged on-site.
Wellness and Spa
The atmospheric Healing Village Spa is located close to the beach. Here, you can choose from many treatments, which include the use of light and sound, heat and color therapy, plants, and gemstones. Yoga classes are also offered.
Swimming pool
The Four Seasons Resort boasts no less than 3 swimming pools, including a very long 57-meter infinity pool by the beach.
Activities
There are many activities and experiences to enjoy at the Four Seasons. If you are a foodie, you will find this resort to be the perfect destination. Because there is a strong focus on food and drink. The resort offers an 'ocean to table' experience, its own cooking school, and a 'herb and cocktail garden,' where the head bartender will teach you how to make a sustainable cocktail with local organic ingredients. He will also share more about Bali’s ancient 'arak' tradition. And that’s not even mentioning the fantastic restaurants and bars of the resort.
In addition to the previously mentioned culinary experiences, you can also arrange a sunrise breakfast or a dinner in an isolated gazebo by the sea. Cultural activities are available, such as workshops in Balinese music, dance, and art. Book a 'bike tour' on a Schiller water bike, or take a surf lesson in a very small group. Non-motorized watersports like kayaking, sailing, and windsurfing are included in the room rate. The resort also has a surf school where you can take surf lessons or book surf excursions.
Heli-surfing
If you are an experienced surfer, this is an excursion not to be missed. In about 45 minutes, you will fly by helicopter to G-Land (Grajagan), at the edge of a national park on the neighboring island of Java. Here, you will find stunning jungles, pristine beaches, wildlife, and incredible tunnels to surf through. Surfers can indulge in this unique surf spot, while non-surfing companions can explore the flora and fauna. You will fly back by helicopter to the Four Seasons, ensuring you arrive in time for the sunset.
Sustainability
The Four Seasons places a high priority on sustainability and has fully integrated it into their daily operations. They do an incredible amount, so here is a selection of their initiatives.
Used cooking oil is converted into bio-fuel in collaboration with a local company. The leftover soap from the villas is donated to a local organization, which reprocesses it into new soap blocks. These soap blocks are donated to orphanages in Bali. Paper is recycled into journals and notebooks in partnership with a local business.
Single-use plastic is banned. Food waste is separated and donated to a local farm for livestock. Additionally, the resort makes every effort to use local ingredients and has its own vegetable and herb garden.
The resort supports disadvantaged communities in Bali by providing training and purchasing local products from them. There is an internship program at the resort for students with hearing impairments, and a training program for women with limited education.
