Bali is more than just beautiful beaches and lush rice terraces. Every part of Bali has something special to offer, with hidden gems of luxury resorts everywhere and a wide variety of unique activities to enjoy. During this private journey, you will be taken to the most beautiful spots that Bali has to offer.
And that's not all, you will also cross over to the eastern part of Java. Here, you will visit the extraordinary Ijen volcano, which you can even climb if you wish. Experience the power of the earth as you stand at the crater rim, surrounded by a unique landscape partly colored yellow by sulfur streams.

Day 1 - South Bali - Ubud
Upon your arrival from your flight to Bali, you will be welcomed by your guide in the arrival hall. A comfortable transfer will take you to the green heart of Bali: Ubud. Just outside Ubud, you will stay overnight in a beautiful villa resort amidst the rice fields.
Day 2 - Ubud: Cooking Workshop
After a delicious breakfast and a relaxing morning, it is time to embark on a culinary adventure. Food is incredibly important in Indonesian culture; therefore, you will discover the secrets of authentic Balinese cuisine.
At a market in Ubud, you will buy ingredients, including fresh herbs and spices, vegetables, and meat. After a walk through one of the many rice fields in this beautiful surroundings, you will arrive at the village where the cooking workshop takes place. Your host will assist you in preparing some delicious authentic Balinese dishes that will become your dinner.
Day 3 - Ubud: local life and cleansing ritual
After breakfast, you will be taken to a traditional Balinese village. Here, you will learn more about local life and get acquainted with traditional crafts. You will also visit a farm and see which tropical fruits and plants are cultivated here.
Then, you will travel to a Hindu water temple for a Balinese purification ritual. You will observe how the Balinese pray, guided by a priest. At the end of the ceremony, you will be blessed with holy water and cleansed of negative energies.
Day 4 - Ubud - Munduk
You trade the cultural Ubud for Munduk, a charming village surrounded by nature. Since the journey is just as important as the destination, you will certainly not be bored today. First, you stop at a natural hot spring, which is said to have healing properties. Then, it's time for some wind in your hair. You exchange your car for an open Volkswagen Safari, a much better way to take in the surroundings. You stop at the enchanting Jatiluwih rice terraces, followed by a lunch at a local restaurant with a stunning view of the picturesque landscape.
Next, it’s time for the Batukaru Temple, a hidden gem nestled in the Balinese jungle. You switch back from the Volkswagen Safari to your own vehicle and are driven to a fruit market, where you can enjoy deliciously sweet fruit. The final stop along the way is the beautiful Ulun Danu Temple, with a spectacular location on Lake Beratan. At the end of the afternoon, you will arrive in the higher-altitude village of Munduk.
Day 5 - Munduk: Trekking in the Rainforest
After breakfast, you will be picked up to explore nature. You will go on a trek, venturing deep into the rainforest. Marvel at the lush plants and tall trees, many of which are hundreds of years old. You will gradually descend to the shores of Lake Tamblingan, where you will also find a number of small, serene temples.
At the lake, you have the option to take a canoe across the lake or choose to walk along the shoreline to the other side. Enjoy the tranquility and untouched beauty of this stunning environment.
Back at the hotel, you can relax and unwind. This evening, a romantic dinner has been arranged for you at the hotel.
Day 6 - Munduk - Banyuwangi
The morning begins with a trek to a coffee plantation located in one of Bali's most fertile areas. Moreover, it is beautifully situated on the edge of a higher plateau offering breathtaking views of three lakes. In this hilly region, nearly every tropical tree, plant, flower, and vegetable grows with ease. During the trek, you will encounter the stunning flora and may spot some native bird species. After a brief introductory walk around the coffee plantation, you will have time to explore on your own if you wish.
In the afternoon, you will visit the island's best vineyard, where authentic Balinese Hatten wine is produced. Here, you will see the various stages of wine production, and if you like, you can even crush grapes yourself. At the end, you can visit the souvenir boutique (closed on Sundays and Balinese holidays).
Then, you will travel to Gilimanuk, from where you will take the ferry to the island of Java. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel.
Day 7 - Banyuwangi – Ijen Volcano – South Bali
You wake up early for this special day. By 4WD, you are driven along paths surrounded by rice fields, followed by rainforest and coniferous forests. Then, it is time to put on your hiking shoes for a climb of about an hour and a half over a well-maintained trail. This ascent takes you to the edge
of the Ijen crater, from where you have a fantastic view of the moon-like landscape of the caldera. You also see the majestic jade-colored lake and the deep yellow of the sulfur springs that constantly emerge from the surface.
You walk back to your 4WD vehicle, which takes you back to your hotel. Here, you can relax for a while before the drive to the harbor and the ferry crossing back to Bali. You are driven through a stunning landscape to your resort in South Bali.
Day 8 - Relaxing in South Bali
A whole day doing absolutely nothing. Enjoy your wonderful resort and everything it has to offer.
Day 9 - Nusa Lembongan
It is time for an unforgettable trip to the stunning island of Nusa Lembongan. You will be warmly welcomed onto the catamaran that comfortably takes you to the island. Upon arrival, you can enjoy a relaxing day on the island and, for example, explore the breathtaking underwater world through snorkeling. A delicious buffet lunch awaits you at the beach club, after which you will take a tour around the island. Get to know the culture and lifestyle of the islanders during visits to several villages. In the late afternoon, you will return aboard the catamaran for the boat trip back to Bali.
