The stunning Plataran Resort is set on a hillside, but it only features 18 spacious villas. Here, you can truly enjoy peace, comfort, and privacy. You can choose a villa surrounded by tropical foliage, close to the beach. Or do you prefer a beachfront villa with a view of the beach and the sea? Or perhaps one of the Pool Villas, allowing you to enjoy your own private pool.

Celebrate Manggarai
Discover the fascinating culture of the Manggarai people, one of the traditional inhabitants of Flores. Immerse yourself in their ancient customs, rituals, and way of life. Get acquainted with music and dance that are still performed during ceremonies. Attend a traditional Tiba Meka ceremony and see some ancient dance rituals, including the unique caci dance. Komodo National Park

The resort is spaciously designed but features only 18 Residences. Most Residences are approximately 65 m², such as the Deluxe Garden Residence and the Deluxe Beachfront Residence. They are decorated in modern Indonesian style and are nestled amidst tropical greenery close to the beach, or directly on the beach with views of Waecicu Beach. The Grand Pool Residence is of similar size but offers a luxurious indoor and outdoor bathroom, a private pool, and loungers on the beach. If you are traveling with your family, choose one of the Two-Bedroom Residences or the Duplex Pool Residence, all of which have two bedrooms.
For a villa in a spectacular location, opt for the Hanging Pool Residence. Perched high on the hill, it offers a fantastic view of the sea and the surrounding landscape. This Residence is significantly more spacious at 134 m² and features a stylish lounge downstairs, a veranda with a private infinity pool, and a large bathroom with a bathtub and a separate rain shower. Upstairs, you will find the master bedroom with stunning views from the balcony.
The jewel of this resort is the Founder’s Home. This villa is identical to the Hanging Pool Residence but is also decorated by the founders of Plataran. Staying in this villa allows you to experience local culture and cuisine through the Founder’s Activities and the Founder’s Menu.
Restaurants
The resort offers two on-site restaurants. Enjoy the cozy atmosphere at the open-air restaurant and bar Xanadu, which is located on the beach and serves delicious dishes from Indonesian and Asian cuisine.
Next to the resort is Atlantis On The Rock, a seaside restaurant. This spot is known as one of the best places to enjoy the sunset. Take a seat on the deck and indulge in Indonesian and international comfort food.
Just outside Labuan Bajo, at the popular Pantai Pede, the resort also has its own beach club: Atlantis Beach Club. A lively place where you can go for a snack and a drink.
