Boat charter to ‘The Drop-Off’
A quarter of an hour's boat ride from Denis Island, there is a spectacular natural phenomenon at the edge of the Seychelles plateau, with a 2,000-meter drop. In the waters around this ‘drop-off’ are the largest predatory fish, such as sailfish and black marlin. For sport fishermen, this is the mecca, with full attention to ‘catch-and-release.’ There are also excellent opportunities to fish for bottom species such as groupers or the famous Seychelles red snapper. In many cases, the foliage is too dense to see the sea directly, but within a few steps, you are in the beautiful surf. Constructed from wood with a touch of colonial style, the accommodations mainly offer spacious and tropical-elegant simplicity. Thanks to the veranda at the beachside and the semi-open bathroom, you will enjoy plenty of natural light and feel connected to the natural surroundings.
