NORTH ISLAND EXPLORATION TOUR
The activities and facilities on North Island are all geared towards experiencing the magnificent nature on and around the island — a world of extraordinary natural beauty. Bicycles and golf buggies are available, along with walking trails through the greenery or over the characteristic granite rock formations. Each villa is unique, built as much as possible using materials available on the island after the removal of non-native trees, combined with large sliding windows to maximize natural light. The villas are located along the edge of the eastern beach, nestled amidst lush foliage. They provide 450 m² of space, featuring a beautifully decorated master bedroom, a lounge with wonderfully comfortable seating, and a private kitchen with a dining table. Television and Wi-Fi are available, as well as both air conditioning and a stylish 'punkah punkah' ceiling fan. A private pool completes the setting, surrounded by lush tropical greenery. For ultimate privacy and seclusion, there is also Villa North Island, an eleventh villa covering an impressive 750 m². Each villa comes with its own golf buggy and private butler service.

The cuisine on North Island is entirely based on a refined preparation of the natural ingredients from and around the island. The island's soil is extremely fertile, and the waters surrounding North Island are home to a wide variety of fish, which are caught in a safe and responsible manner. Daily menus are crafted based on the fresh harvest, the day's catch, and your personal preferences. The chef will take you on a surprisingly diverse gastronomic journey, with Creole flair. One of the reasons why North Island was purchased was due to its potential to become a sanctuary where the Seychelles' natural habitat could be restored and threatened native flora and fauna could be reintroduced—an idea that the island refers to as 'Noah’s Ark.' The essence of North Island lies in the sustainable, ecologically sensitive use of a precious natural treasure. After taking on the challenge to restore its former glory, North Island gradually reintroduced turtle and bird species, along with native trees such as the legendary Coco de Mer palm. Maximum efforts are made in material recycling and the restoration of existing structures, alongside water and energy conservation and the installation of an environmentally sensitive wastewater treatment facility.
