Visit the giant tortoises of Raffles Praslin
The endemic Aldabra giant tortoise can only be found on a handful of islands and atolls in the Seychelles. These animals can live up to 120 years. Raffles Praslin contributes to the conservation of this iconic species and has rescued 11 adults and two juveniles, who now lead a luxurious life in the tortoise reserve on the resort grounds. During your stay, plan a visit to the animals and join an educational session about the lives of the tortoises, followed by a feeding session in the resort’s reserve. The cost of this ethically responsible experience is donated to the Aldabra Clean Up Project—a coalition working to address marine plastic pollution on Aldabra, the world's second-largest coral atoll.

The islands of Praslin and the nearby Curieuse are the only places in the world where the unique Coco de Mer palm tree can be found.
