About &Beyond Ngorongoro Crater Lodge
The &Beyond Ngorongoro Crater Lodge is just as unique as the Ngorongoro Crater itself. The lodge boasts a perfect location on the edge of the crater, offering a phenomenal view with the crater literally at your feet. The style of the lodge is inspired by a Maasai village, but with Victorian elements for decoration—a striking combination that works beautifully. The lodge consists of three different camps spread across the grounds, each with its own lounge area and views. The North Camp and South Camp are situated slightly higher and are more exuberantly decorated; the Tree Camp is located a bit lower, right on the edge of the crater, and has a more tranquil atmosphere.
Of course, game drives into the crater are available, but there is so much more to do. Join one of the fantastic walks, enjoy a unique private picnic lunch in the crater, meet the Maasai and learn more about their life here. Afterwards, return to the lodge for some well-deserved pampering. Indulge in a sundowner or wine tasting, enjoy a relaxing massage, or unwind in a warm bubble bath as the sun sets and the temperature drops.
Completely relax in your equally unique treehouse suite, loosely inspired by a Maasai home, with a grass roof, mud walls, and a ceiling made of banana leaves. The interior decor features stylish antiques, chandeliers, and elegant African details. The large floor-to-ceiling window offers sliding doors to your terrace with breathtaking views over the crater.

What you can expect:
- Beautifully situated on the edge of the Ngorongoro Crater
- Exclusive lodge with a very unique style
- Game drives in the extraordinary ecosystem of the crater
- Enjoy the constantly changing views over the crater
