Mui Ne
The nearest beach town accessible overland from Ho Chi Minh City is Mui Ne. Mui Ne is a long stretch of beach lined with a row of resorts. There are some more luxurious resorts here, but a high-end resort has not yet been built. For that, it is best to travel to Ke Ga Bay, located a little further before Mui Ne. Here, you will find a very serene 5-kilometer-long sandy beach with a resort where you can completely relax. There is plenty to discover in the area, such as the fishing village of Phan Thiet and enormous sand dunes, making you feel like you are in the middle of the desert.
