Auckland, New Zealand

The Hotel Britomart

Just a stone's throw from the vibrant harbor area and the heart of Auckland, in the trendy Britomart district, lies the modern The Hotel Britomart. The first '5 Green Star Hotel' in New Zealand. This hotel is built and designed with a focus on sustainability: handcrafted bricks, a wall made of the black volcanic sand from the nearby west coast, organic bed linen, compostable slippers, and much more. At the same time, it offers the quality you expect from a luxury hotel and service with a smile.

Located in the heart of Auckland, you can easily explore the city on foot or by using one of the hotel's free loan bikes, and nearby you will find the best restaurants. On the ground floor of the hotel is its own award-winning restaurant, Kingi. The specially curated 3- and 4-course menus, featuring local (sea) dishes, are highly recommended. In such a prime city location, most rooms also offer fantastic views of the city or harbor. The hotel's suites are on the top floor and rooftop, offering, of course, the best views.

Your Stay

All rooms feature a wood-paneled wall and a sleek bathroom with a walk-in shower. The rooms are also designed as sustainably as possible. For example, the sofa by the window is filled with natural materials (instead of synthetic), the artworks are by local artists, organic bed linen and bathroom products are used, and the minibar is stocked with local delicacies.

If you prefer a more spacious room during your stay, consider booking one of the suites. These are two to three times larger and are located on the top floor of the building or on the roof of the adjacent building. Some also feature a spacious terrace. This guarantees top comfort, and additional perks are included, such as a delicious breakfast at the Kingi Restaurant.
