From Dar Es Salaam, it is possible to drive to Nyerere National Park in the dry season within half a day, approximately 5-7 hours. Due to its remote location and the less-than-ideal roads, the journey is usually made by air. This national park is part of the so-called fly-in safari, where travel between parks is done by flight and game drives are organized by the camps.
